Our current decaf offering hails from the Chiapas Region of Mexico.
This coffee is decaffeinated using the 'Mountain washed process', a chemical free method that draws the caffeine away, whilst retaining the beautiful natural flavour profile of the region's coffee.
Once harvested, milled and processed, the coffee is then transported directly to Descamex in Mexico, the central hub for this decaffeination process. The beans are gently steamed to naturally withdraw the caffeine and are washed using the pure water from Pico de Orizaba, the highest mountain in Mexico.
You wouldn't even know it was decaf! So consider trying this coffee and see for yourself that there shouldn't be a compromise!
Roasted to a medium level to showcase notes of biscuits and cocoa.
