A washed coffee from the the central valley regions, grown at altitudes of 1350 metres+ above sea level, allowing for the sweetness in the cherries to develop slowly at cooler altitudes. This single origin boasts a complex and fragrant aroma and has an enjoyable, well balanced sweetness and acidity.
Coffee from Costa Rica can be quite diverse, but the country’s coffee is well-known for its impeccable high quality, often sweet/floral, with a medium acidity and balance. Costa Rica holds a law by which only the highest quality of arabicas can be planted, meaning that only great quality cups are going to be exported and enjoyed across the world.
